When purchasing a horse from Ponderosa  Paints & Pintos, a buyer can expect, unless otherwise stated:

  • Bill of sale

  • Appropriate registration and transfer papers

  • Good general health and soundness

  • Current deworming

  • Vaccination for West Nile, Sleeping Sickness, rhinopneumonitis (rhino) and tetanus

  • Current farrier work

  • Disclsosure of any past/current injuries

  • Current coggins test (at expense of purchaser

HONEY - 1996 Grade Palomino Solid Paint Mare

Honey is a grade solid paint palomino mare that consistently throws stellar foals off of any stallion she is bred to. She is sired by Duals Hi Dash and is a half sister to our own Duals Kokanee Gold. Honey stands around 14.2 HH. Due to an injury when she was a weanling she has crooked back legs, but has been on pasture all her life and is able to keep up just fine. She would make a great companion for another horse, or would be a great horse just to breed and love. Her foals are always the first to come up to you and accept people. Last year her foal was asking for scratches at 12 hours old! Will be exposed to Prairie Sky Acres' Senstional ZipNRock in early June for a 2011 foal (this will increase her price)

This is an amazing stallion with a pedigree that speaks for itself. Dee has wonderful movement, a floating trot, a typey head and neck and a great personality. He stands around 14.2 HH. We are only selling Dee due to time and money contraints. He is experienced in hand breeding only. Dee was never broke as a young man, but he seems like he would have been an easy break. He is UTD on shots/dewormer/farrier and stands wonderfully for all three. Will stand until sold.

Jetta is a sweet, mare that will do anything she can to please you. She is by Moon Spots (APHA) and out of Impressity Too (APHA). Jetta is going really well now! She has about 80 days training on her, and is picking up everything wonderfully! This girl is definately destined for the english world and is showing wonderful talent for dressage, however you can take her out and move cattle when you want to. She has a wonderful walk trot, she gives to the bit, can do haunches and shoulders in, she half passes and side passes and is starting to learn to extend her gaits. Her collection at the trot is wonderful. She placed in every class she was entered in this year with the excpetion of 4 (out of about 20).
